Regional Office

The Regional Office for Africa in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), established on 18 June 1992, represents the Union in Africa and provides assistance to the 44 Member States in the region. Its Area Offices in Dakar (Senegal), Harare (Zimbabwe) and Yaoundé (Cameroon) provide support and assistance for their respective geographical zone.

Enabling and accelerating digital transformation is at the heart of the work on the continent. Working in partnership is critical to advancing digital development as integrating emerging technologies and digital solutions in areas such as government, education, health, and finance, can only be achieved as a collective effort. Country specific requests for guidance and implementation are responded to following consultation between the parties concerned.
